Call Stations
the call station consists of a directional control switch and a (optional) key switch.


Platform Controls
Consists of a directional control switch, a key switch (optional) and an audible illuminated emergency stop/alarm switch.


Under Platform Safety Pan
Five commerical grade waterproof safety switches will stop the platform should it encounter an obstruction.


Grabrail
It is located on the platform side panel.


Finishes
The steel panels and framework are finished with electrostatically applied baked fine textured Satin Grey paint. The panels, gates and mast are framed with champagne anodized aluminum extrusions.


Manual Wheelchair Lifts Emergency Lowering
(standard on the Hydraulic Model Only) - to lower the lift, a knob must be pulled to manually open the valve and lower the platform.


Manually Emergency Lowering Handwheel
(standard on Leadscrew Only) - a handwheel is attached to the lift and is used to manually move the platform to the desired landing in case of a power outage.

Wheelchair Lifts -Auxiliary Power System

(standard on the Hydraulic Model Only) - the batteries automatically activate in the event of a power failure. This allows the passenger inside the lift to travel up or down to the desired landing.

- these interlocks ensure the gate is closed before travel.

Battery Powered Wheelchair Lifts - Emergency Lowering

(applicable to Leadscrew drive only) - the Genesis can be supplied with an optional battery-powered emergency lowering system which is automatically activated in the event of a power failure. A secondary 24 VDC motor is engaged to the main drive system of the lift and allows the passenger inside the lift to travel downwards only. The battery powered emergency lowering moves the platform at a speed of approximately 300 mm/min. (1 ft/min.). The battery powered emergency lowering is controlled by the same push buttons. The only difference in the controls is that travel is permitted only in the down direction.

Keyed Call Stations
- keyed operation is available as an option. The keyless lift does not have a keyswitch on the call station or the platform. The directional push buttons on the platform will override the directional push buttons of the call stations. Available on all styles of call stations.

Keyed Platform Controls
- keyed operation helps restrict the use of the lift to authorized users only.
