Wheelchair Lifts - Concord Handilift

This wheelchair lift is made by Concord Elevator in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is a screw drive and comes in two lift heights. Simple design and ease of installation makes HANDILIFT-S the most economical solution to accessibility problems in the home or in a public building. Powered by a one horsepower motor, the reliable Acme Screw drive system can lift 750 lbs. (340 kg). The HANDILIFT-S is available in two standard platform sizes, both with 42 1/4" high barrier side walls.

Safety features include under-platform obstruction sensors, constant pressure control buttons, handrail, emergency stop button, final limit switch, and anti-slip flooring. The Handilift-S can be installed indoors or outdoors and will look new for years due to its electrostatically applied baked polyester gloss powder coat paint.

Safety. If the under-platform comes in contact with an obstruction while traveling in the down direction, the lift will stop.

Cab Size and Construction  
35" x 54" (890 mm x 1372 mm) or 35" x 48" (890 mm x 1220 mm) clear platform size. The cab is constructed of an aluminum extruded frame with steel inserts. Side barrier walls are 42 1/4" (1073 mm) high.

Self Lubricating Acme Screw Drive

 
The Acme screw drive system is self-lubricated by an adjustable oil application system with low oil light indicator.

Manual Lowering
 
In the event of a main power failure, the top of the Acme screw is accessible and equipped so the screw can be turned using a special optional hand crank to lower the platform.

Ramps
 
Automatic "flip up" ramp on the platform or stationary ramp if required.

Handrail  
Mounted on the control wall.
